Seed restore not working [Clearnet]

Unfortunately if you forgot your seed, you are most likely out of luck. There is literally nothing anyone can do on “the servers” to help recover your coins. Your seed is not stored in a “database” somewhere.

Seeds are 8 or 9 words. Not to be confused with your “passphrase”, which could be any number of words / characters / etc.

That being said, one thing you can check is the “word list” that is used. You need to verify all 8 or 9 words you are trying to type in actually exist. It’s possible you wrote it down incorrectly:

Other things to try:

  1. If you exported your private keys, you can import your private keys into your wallet.
  2. If you happened to back up the Appdata\Roaming\Electrum-XVG\Wallet directory on your hard drive, you try could restoring that.
